Fun story time - When I went to get my license at 16, they decided that I didn’t need to take a driver’s test because I took driver’s ed. They did make me take a vision test without my glasses to confirm that I can’t see without them even though I flat out told them. I guess they can’t take someone’s word for it if they say they can’t see without their glasses. For all you know, they could be trying to get that coveted “A” restriction that means you have to wear glasses to drive. The worst is when I’m pulled over wearing sunglasses and they refuse to believe that they’re prescription. One even went as far as to take them, put them on, and insist that they aren’t. I asked him to read a sign down the road wearing them. He was embarrassed.
